Saturday

Poor puppy, Susan came over early this morning and Ileft with her. Kane barked at her when she arrived, and with a deep bark too. Susan had never heard Kane's bark before. Kane thought we were going for a walk and came outside too, but I had to put him back inside.

Susan and I went to the farmers' market and then to her place for breakfast. We were out for nearly three hours.

In the early afternoon, Kane and I went on our regular Saturday shop walk. We went the long way via the woods, and after the shop and walk around the outside of the complex, we went home via the alleys.

Since then, it has been raining on and off unpredictably, so we haven't gone on further walks.

This evening Kim came over for dinner and Kane barked at the back when she arrived. The door chime sounded at the front door, but Kane also saw the car pull into the driveway, so he barked at the car.

Poor puppy, with the rain we haven't been able to take another walk.
