Everyday when I return home from work, I let Kane back inside from the back door and he greets me with nudges and a wagging tail. He then heads towards the front door ready for our walk.
This evening we not only walked to the shops, but we took the usual Saturday morning route, with a torch - to the shops, around the perimeter and returning home the long way round via the green way. It is a nice length for a regular walk and we were out for nearly an hour walking at a brisk pace, except when I was inside the shops for five minutes.
We didn't meet another dog at all.
