a doggie party

This evening's walk was very exciting and we were out for an hour.

We went to visit Jet the German Shepherd two doors up. Unfortunately, Jet wasn't able to come along on a walk as he had an ear infection and taking ear drops for a week. Therese mentioned that he was scratching his ears and they were bleeding and she had to take him to the emergency vet yesterday. Poor puppy.

We then went to visit Jake the Kelpie. Jake wasn't able to come on a walk either as Nick had already taken him on one earlier. Luckily, Nick let Jake out the front door so Jake and Kane were able to play for a short time.

Then we continued to Macquarie oval and had the best time. We came across Jack the Jack Russell Terrier and his person Doug heading the same way and we joined Ripley the Dobermann and Vinnie the Kelpie cross with their person Colleen.

A new dog called Bonnie (a Collie) turned up so she and Kane said hello, then Bronte the Golden Retriever whom we had met at a house auction a few weeks ago, and finally, Ollie the Poodle and Kaylie the something Terrier joined us.

It was a great canine party. It was a shame that us humans there didn't have one of our own with drinks and snacks!
