new blog

Kane now has a new blog. A dog blog! I will gradually move the tails of his adventures from my Daniel's Den to here.

This evening, we went to visit Jet, the German Shepherd puppy (he's about 8 months old), who lives two doors up. Unfortunately his people were busy so he couldn't come out walking. Jet and Kane did say hello through their gate.

Leaving Jet's place we went to visit Jake, the Kelpie who lives around the corner.
Upon the door opening, Kane walked right into the house (rather presumptuous) and we went straight to the backyard where Jake was. Kane was rather happy to see Jake again. I had a quick chat with Sue who was doing gardening while her son Nick was preparing a barbecue.

As they were too busy for a walk as well, we went to the Macquarie oval and went past Jack the Jack Russell Terrier who always barks hello. Nobody was at the oval, but Jack's person Doug promised they'd be there in a few minutes.

It was terribly exciting when Jack arrived, though he kept on trying to jump up and play with Kane. They walked back with us and then turned into their street.
