Margie and Liz came over this evening to join in Kane's walk. Kane was really happy to see Liz, whom he hasn't seen for sometime, and who is visiting from the US. However, her visit is a sad one as her father, who was Kane's human companion recently passed away. He loved Kane and I am grateful to have the opportunity to continue the care of such a wonderful dog.
On our walk, we went past Jet's house as we had a play-date planned today, but nobody was home. Then we went past Jake's house and nobody was home either. When we arrived at Macquarie oval, there were no other dogs around. It must be because everybody thought it would rain, which it did on our way home. Such a shame as those walks where we meet up with other canines are the most fun.
