I left work earlier today, which was fortunate as it started raining as soon as I was home. Consequently, tonight's walk was after the drizzle had ceased, so it was in the dark. We only walked around the block.
The thing about walking after it has rained is that the canine news on the ground gets diluted so Kane backtracked a fair bit and spent considerable time smelling each telegraph pole and lamp post along the way.
Interesting that he smells his news from the telegraph pole. In Australia, informal sharing of information, particularly gossip, is known as 'bush telegraph'.

I will be away from Friday morning and returning on Monday afternoon. During this time, Emily will be staying over with Kane. He should be quite content as she is always cuddling him when she visits.
