Kane is more confident with the deck steps now. When it still had the gaps, Kane was hesitant to use them and when climbing up, used to wait for me to help him. I think he is much happier not being locked inside during the day.

After I returned home from work, Kane was behind the gate again waiting for me.

We went on our walk around the small block and called past Jet's house on the way after spotting Dee in their front yard. Jet said hello through their gate. Jet's house had new front steps put in made of wood. Kane tried to use them, but they were too slippery for him. Poor puppy.

We spotted another dog during our walk. As usual, Kane sped up to approach the dog, but the handler said her dog wasn't friendly. Only seeing another dog makes Kane walk faster!
