Margie came over this morning to take Kane to the vet for his second (of four) Pentosan injection. At the veterinary clinic, we met a great Bassett Hound who was a little shy. After returning Kane home, I went to work.

But then came home soon after on account of still being sick.

In the late afternoon, we walked the double small block. I had to force Kane to walk at a quicker pace to ensure he used his leg muscles properly and to build them up again. When Kane is really slow, his back legs cross in front of each other and looks wobbly. The vet thought perhaps Kane was thinking too much how to walk instead of just doing it. It's been a long time since Kane walked at a canter. The walk took 22 minutes, which is an improvement.
