When I returned home from work, Kane was waiting behind the gate to watch for my arrival. Poor puppy, he must have missed me.
This evening's walk was the double small block in the opposite direction as usual. On the way, we visited next door to say hello on their front porch (the home of Scotch the Dobermann). The thing about the opposite walk is that Kane's side (on my left) passes the power poles, most of which Kane insisted on smelling. It wasn't a bad walk, with the visit next door and the regular smell stops, taking 25 minutes. We used to walk the big block in that time and now it is only a fraction of it in the same time.
