semi super Sunday

Today, we were hoping to visit Kane's family and Lola the Golden Retriever as they'd just moved to the next suburb, but they still had moving stuff to do.

In the mid-afternoon we went on our walk to the markets. On the way, we visited Jet the German Shepherd at his house for about five minutes. We didn't stay long as his people had visitors. Then we continued on and visited Tessie the Border Collie. We were invited into their backyard to see Tessie by her person Callie. Tessie didn't want to play as she is much older, but she did want to be fussed by me.

Our first stop at the markets was the pet store where we said hello to Splat the resident cat. We also spent quite some time there choosing a new collar and lead. We chose a bright orange one made by Rogz - a Lumberjack collar and the multipurpose lead. Both Jake and Bruno have those collars, which are the top of the range. Bruno also has the fancy lead, which is adjustable for different purposes.

After that, I left Kane by a seat and went into the shops for carrots and mandarins.

On the way home, we dropped in to visit Jake. After a few minutes, Jake and Nick left to go to the oval. We decided not to join them as we'd just had an exciting time.

We did go on a little walk later just before dinner.

about 250-300g of diced blade beef - the rest on the right went into a curry

beef with beans, cabbage, carrots and brown rice (plus a tablet and Sasha's blend which went on top)

Strangely, Kane does not have a problem with gut fermentation and farting. It must be all the beef bones he grinds down.
