before the storm

Poor puppy. I didn't return home from work until it was dark and then Kane had to patiently wait an hour before we went out on our evening walk.

We only walked around the block across the road, which was a minimal walk. As it wasn't our regular route, Kane spent most of the time smelling nearly every bush along the way. I had intended to continue a few blocks, but thunder and lightning started. Just as we returned home, it started raining.
