The thing about hoping to meet up with the neighbourhood doggies is timing. Tonight we left at 7.30pm, went over to say hello to Jet (the puppy German Shepherd two doors up) and saw Jake the Kelpie and his person Sue walking our way. They were going to the other shops in another direction (that we never go to) so we tagged along for the walk.
Kane just adores Jake and really enjoyed walking along with him. There is another playing field near the other shops (and the grass is nicer too) and both Jake and Kane had great fun playing. It was the first time I saw Kane engage in the neck nipping dog play. He usually ignores the invitation to play, so he must have been in a very playful and happy mood.
